ABOUT US

The factory began operations in 1988. Despite our growth over the years, our products continue to be made by hand. This has always been a focal point of our production line. The labour based approach has meant we have been able to create employment in a country where it is so very needed. It also allows for our production line to easily customise and manufacture new products, giving our clients a flexible product line and the ability to quickly bring new products to market. We currently have a team of over 100, hardworking ladies who make sure there is enough of our amazing product to feed the growing demand. Over the past 5 years we have also designed bespoke machinery to help our workforce manufacture more products while upholding our high quality standards. The machinery seeks to aid our workers in their increasing output and increasing the factory's efficiency.

In 2016, we became the founding sponsor for Bhongolethu, an NPO primary school for 54 children. The school, based in Cape Town, provides primary school education to underprivileged children from the local community in Masiphumelele. Today the school has grown to provide for over 300 children and also supports skills development for some of the older women in the community, empowering them to earn a living. We could not be more proud of the school's founder, Tyler Sutcliffe, and how she has managed to create so many opportunities for others. We are just thrilled to be a part of this journey.
